Imaginary Husband - Beltane (Redux)

We have our first Remix for Contact Buzz, as Beltane features on our debut tape release - ‘A Contact Buzz Guide to… Regtown’. Imaginary Husband are an unbelievably talented young band, it's shocking how young they are to say how accomplished they are at their sound. My old ways of transferring from the 4-track left a lot to be desired timing wise and I can’t help but feel I did them a massive disservice. Well here is the redemption arc, here's how it was supposed to sound.

It was ages ago now so all the details have left my head, but I met Johnny at five a side footy, how I meet most individuals these days. Already a fan of Mince, really keen to get involved with Contact Buzz, just an all round lovely guy. First of all Fionn’s drumming is impeccable, something the old version couldn’t quite keep up with. What an integral part Charlie’s bass plays too. Aleks had to do both guitar parts with Jackson not being available at this point - did a heck of a job imitating his style. Everyone's doing something mindbending, with Johnny’s spoken word rooting the song deep down in the north. Some supremely lush moments on this.
