Now we have an electronic pop duo with a razor-sharp edge – Kiosk. Their stunning single ‘Dogma’ was a clear indication of intent from Bella and Maz. I journeyed to Maz’s house on a terribly wet day, ready to dance and shake the ground.

We had some of the most technical synths I’ve recorded with, you should have seen all the things Bella’s synth could do. All analog too! The bass synth, perhaps too powerful for the tape to really capture how deep it moved. The end of the session was spent experimenting with my Cathedral Reverb and Dl4 Delay. Some wild sounds created from just long vocalisations and knife scrapes. A wonderfully haunting, dance track.
